Economy<\/span><\/h3>

The economy of the Gambia is one of the weakest in the world. The Gambia economy is predominantly Agriculture. <\/u>The main exports are still peanut (Groundnut) and the peanut and peanut products such as peanut oil and animal feeds (depending on the weather condition)<\/p>

With development fund, attempts are being made at improving the production method and stimulating the cultivation of other crops.<\/p>

The main focus lies on the development of agriculture and the irrigation of the marshes around the Gambia River. The Gambia is a largely Muslim country. Around 90% of the population is Muslim about 10% of the population is a member of the Roman Catholic Church or Anglican Church.
